Starting in 1959, Phillippe Builders established a reputation for custom-built homes in Illinois. Since 1994, this predominant builder has had a presence in Northwest Indiana with 12 new developments in Lake and Porter counties.
With third-generation builder Robert Phillippe at its helm, this company continues to demonstrate its forte in developing communities “that offer so much,” says Rachael Phillippe, sales and marketing director.
Phillippe offers two distinct series of homes that can be built in any of its communities. The Classic Series of 26 styles offers some four-bedroom designs for entry-level buyers. The Premiere Series provides styles from 1,600 to 2,600 square feet and start at $190,000. The newest development at Coffee Creek in Chesterton will establish an Energy Star certified community of 200 “green” town homes,” Phillippe says.
Each development also has its own sales staff that “know every detail and make any adjustments for buyers,” she says.
