Founded by restaurateurs Nicole Bissonette and Gary Sanders who also own Miller Bakery Café and Bistro 157, Bartlett’s is also a great place for fantastic food. This neighborhood hangout is kid friendly with a kid’s menu, perfect for a jaunt after a day at the beach. They have a great family style menu for sharing gobs of jumbo shrimp, oysters Rockefeller, and even house smoked venison sticks and salty pretzel rods, the ideal accompaniment to a pint of New Holland High Gravity Black Tulip from Michigan or other local and national microbrews or a Bloody Mary. The lunch and dinner fare features starters such as crab cakes, chili cheese fries, and a savory rustic wild mushroom flatbread. The roadside venison chili is a true Dunes treat, and the Bartlett’s Mac & Cheese is a hearty comfort-food classic with a blend of cheeses, baked with a parmesan bread-crumb crust. The menu rounds out with pastas, steaks, chicken, barbecued pork, fish, salads, and burgers and sandwiches.
