Making theater and the performing arts appealing, educational and accessible to the entire community remains the mission of Ridgewood Arts Foundation’s Theatre at the Center.
This award-winning theater at Munster’s Center for Visual and Performing Arts presents professional world-class productions in the intimate 416-seat theater. From Broadway musicals and plays to Chicagoland’s hottest shows, Theatre at the Center is one of the Midwest’s most popular entertainment destinations.
Debuting in 1991, professional casts have presented Broadway favorites as well as productions designed for young audiences.
The 2009 season includes upcoming productions of Crazy for You, Footloose, Man of LaMancha, and The Christmas Schooner. William Pullinsi serves as artistic director of Theatre at the Center.
Performance times are 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays; 2:30 p.m. on Sundays; 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; and select Thursdays at 7:30 and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m.
