Since 1963, Round the Clock Restaurant has served up quality homemade foods for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks 24 hours a day in a friendly, homey environment. And for more than a dozen years, this popular restaurant chain has been recognized as “The Best Family Restaurant in Northwest Indiana.”
Founded by the Christos family, the current owners Minas and Soula Litos purchased the chain from Soula’s family in 1992. And although many are familiar with the Highland and Schererville restaurants, Round the Clock also serves customers at Johnnies Round the Clock Family Restaurant in Merrillville; RTC restaurants in Valparaiso, Chesterton and LaPorte; at Christos Family Restaurants in Knox, LaPorte, Plymouth, West Lafayette and Lafayette; as Red Seven Grill in Lafayette, and Camille’s Café in Lafayette and West Lafayette.
In addition to quality main courses, Round the Clock offers an array of yummy desserts. There’s also a catering menu. It’s a place where the wait staff often knows your orders because they’ve served you many times before, says Shawn Frey, regional manager.
“One of the things I really like about working at Round the Clock is the longevity of the employees,” Frey says. “Without them, we’re just a restaurant.”
