I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head.
The problem is something that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.

While I may not have toddlers, I have 3 kids: 16,12, & 8 and someone is always prone to an illness or an injury.

When we travel I always keep a separate bag with me at all times (usually a backpack for easy travel on foot as well).

I stock it full of band aids, pain reliever, antihistamines, peppermint for upset tummies as well as ginger candy, bug spray, sunblock, peroxide, wipes and hand sanitizer.

This way, we’re always covered no matter where we’re at!

What an amazing giveaway! I am going to use all of these tips the next time we go away! I don’t think my tips are very new but here they are anyway! SNACKS! Enough said! I try to get new and different things that they will think are fun to eat. Also, I buy little toys and activities from the Dollar Store or the Target dollar section and wrap them, so they have something special to unwrap once in awhile. We have some kid music CDs that we listen to that they enjoy dancing to in there carseats. And when mommy and daddy start getting in on the action, they love it!

If we’re staying overnight we never travel without our white noise machine. If our 2 year old gets a good night’s sleep then WE ALL HAVE A LOVELY VACATION

We always have one DVD player for my son, who is a bit older and the girls share the car DVD - numerous car games - and we always - always play I spy in the car with all the children! They love it - we do simple I spy and then we do the ABC I spy! SO FUN!

My husband and I just took a 7-hour trip with two under two. As terrifying as that sounds, it worked really well. We scooped them out of bed into their car seats and left at four in the morning, and since my kids usually sleep until nine, we got most of the way there before they even woke up. It was awesome! Not a peep out of either of them for the whole drive!

We don’t have any electronics in the backseat either, but I do have a radio and my kids have become somewhat privy to my choices. I like to pick music to set the mood for fun or calm or somewhere in between.

We always pack 3 suitcases. 1 for the adults, 1 for the 2 toddlers, and 1 for a change of clothes for each of us. It’s SO much easier on long drives not to have to dig through a lot of luggage to find one outfit to wear. And with my girls, so far, there’s never been a trip that they didn’t need a change of clothes on!
