The Turkey Comeback

October 15th, 2008 - By Stephanie Precourt

Yes, I know Halloween hasn’t even made a scare yet, but I am already thinking about Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is actually one holiday that I am always thinking about. But not just for the food. If only.

Thanksgiving Day five years ago was when Noah had his first seizure.

Never mind the turkey or pumpkin pie, it just has never felt the same since.

Memories of the 911 call, the turkey left in the oven, and spending our holiday in the hospital with technicians that clearly did not want to be there- just like us- we all wanted to be home with our families.

But, in the past couple years I have been reclaiming it and am on a mission to enjoy Thanksgiving again. Whether you have in laws you just can’t stand, left the gizzard bag in last year’s bird, or that crazy Aunt won’t stop criticizing your mashed potatoes… let’s ALL take Thanksgiving back!

So, I’m searching for the perfect turkey to top this Thanksgiving. Electrolux (don’t you just LOVE their commercials??) is on a quest for your Perfect Turkey Tale .

Share your tale about your quest for the perfect turkey and you’re entered for a chance to win a stylish new Electrolux wall oven or range with the Perfect Turkey™ button — just in time for the holidays! Can you imagine!?

Oh, if I could have Elextrolux come and replace every one of my appliances!

So, share your tale by video, photo, or by uploading a story .

And take Thanksgiving back this year!
