Where Are The Pink Erasers?

School starts next week!

WOO HOO!

Last year, I was sad. I was going to miss having my boys around the house. Seemed like summer was coming to an end too soon. But this year? I’m ready.

Last year I didn’t have the baby yet, so maybe that made a difference. It’s been fun- I love my kids- you know that. It’s just that pretty much this ENTIRE summer I’ve had zero routine. No schedule and that has not been a good thing. It will be good to get back on track.

We’ve already started going to bed earlier and I feel so much better because of it. I’ll start my meal planning again and maybe actually get the house kind of clean.

I’ll still have the two littlest ones, but I am hoping for a shared nap/quiet time at least once a day. We’ll see how it goes. I also have BIG BIG plans to do some fun things- at least something big and fun once a week with Gray. Like visit Chicago way more regularly to see the museums, zoo, parks. I’m also going to be scouting local events for kids during the day like the library, bookstores, mall, etc. Know of any good programs? Send links my way!

Anyway. I’ve got the backpacks overflowing with the listed school supplies, but of all things we couldn’t find pink erasers at Target OR Wal-Mart. I’m not too worried. My main concern is that they have clean clothes the first day of school.

I have some laundry to catch up on…

This reminds me of when I was a nanny- for 6 kiddos!!! My first day of work was the day before they started school, and my last day was their last day of school- I don’t think I could have handled summer break with six of someone else’s kids! :) Hope you have a great school year! :)
