I don’t cuss but I am about to curse out that dang bucket list. You’d think I could scratch off SOMETHING by now. Or maybe I should have added simple things like going to a friend’s house? Check. Order a replacement cabinet door at Menards with all four kids all by myself? Check. Make it through the day? Check.
Today my ONE AND ONLY GOAL?
Get to the post office to mail a few embarrassingly long-overdue letters. Why does this seem so impossible and daunting?
I’ll keep you posted.
*Update! The letters have been mailed. I even did a bunch of other things, too! Woo hoo!

I’ll help you get that Bucket List done. Especially with Chicago’s free days.
We’re going to Legoland in Schaumburg on Wed. Oct. 14. Let me know if you guys want to go! (Homeschool special, $5 kids, $7 for adults)

Fortunately, I think its the fun in the little things we do with kids that make the biggest impact. Think about your childhood…I remember the times my whole family was piled up in the truck going places together instead of the vacations we took. I remember mom laughing and cutting up and seeing her eyes in the rearview mirror while she drove me to gymnastics. Be still…give yourself a break and don’t feel guilt! Oh how hard we are on ourselves! Lots of love your way!
