Stay at home dad
Hubs is on vacation this week (what a vacation to stay home so I can sleep in (until 8!) and go to the store by myself (hey, this is HUGE!) and work with no one pulling at my shirt or hair or chestal area.)
I went out for a bit this morning and came home to a familiar scene. Like I was looking in on myself, on any given day.
He had just given Ivy a bath (without my suggestion, but after Ivy eats anything, it’s kind of a requirement) and was sitting on the floor, my camera in hand, snapping away. Toys were everywhere. Breakfast was still on -and in- the highchair. Gray was eating a snack watching a show.

He’d put Ivy in a super cute outfit- skirt with leggings even! And styled her hair.
It was real life. It was validation, confirmation, acceptance, and love.
