A Christmas Story Comes Home

November 21st, 2010 - By Stephanie Precourt

Stairs to see Santa.

The Christmas Story exhibit is back at the Indiana Welcome Center now through January 2, 2011. We went last year and it is a BLAST. Kids can sit on St. Nick’s lap on Santa’s Mountain and then slide down the slide just like in the movie. Walk along the amazing animated reenactments of the Region’s favorite holiday family tale and stop in the gift shop for mini leg lamps and autographed memorabilia by Ralphie, Flick, and the rest of the gang.

We’ll be taking our kids to see Santa there for sure- hopefully not waiting until CHRISTMAS EVE MORNING like last year, but hey, we made it!
