This can’t be right.
Just yesterday or the day before, Brian and I decided to have a Halloween Party.
And then Kmart selected me to do a Halloween Makeover on my house during the second week of October.
And then the party night came on October 30th and it was so much fun, we trick or treated the following day, it was delicious.
On November first, just as I do every year, I started dreaming about mashed potatoes and turkey. Oh man, I love Thanksgiving.
Then suddenly, it was the day after Thanksgiving and we were shopping for Christmas gifts. It was fun but still…I was shopping more for fun at that point rather than necessity.
Then December 1st came and we put up our Christmas tree, it’s really beautiful, I let the kids help a lot, which explains the 17 candy canes in the 12 inch area. It’s cute. I’m serious.
And now? It’s December 9th, which I can handle, I can, but I can’t handle that the kids only have seven more days of school which means TEACHERS GIFTS AND BUS DRIVER GIFTS and what do I get my mail man and the garbage men and bosses and kids and family? I need to bake cookies and make (and eat) chocolate truffles and OHMYGOD I haven’t shopped since the day after Thanksgiving and WHAT DID I BUY AGAIN?
Then tomorrow, my husband goes on a business trip for FIVE days and also? My sister is due to have a baby four hours away, any day now, and I need to be in the room with her.
Also, my belly grows 3 inches every single day…(I swear it does) And I need plenty of time to sit and feel this baby dance inside my belly. Because before I know it? The baby will be in my arms. I know this.
With that? I’m officially in panic mode and I have to go. BYE.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year, Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Easter.
