ID'S NEEDED FOR TRIP | Niagara Falls

GOLF OUTING | Crown Point

This week is the final opportunity to sign up for the Golfer's Delight Outing on Sept. 3 at Oak Knoll Golf Club in Crown Point. It will begin with a 9-hole shotgun start at 9 a.m., followed by lunch at 12:30 at Dick's Restaurant, 10808 Wicker Ave., at the intersection of US 41 and Rte. 231. A choice of three entrees will be available: lake perch, broasted chicken or prime rib. Price for golf and lunch is $32. Cart is included. There will be prizes and fun for all. DINNER/DANCE | Dyer

Our afternoon dinner/dance "September Song" on Sept. 25, is at Casa Maria Hall, 500 Northgate Drive. Doors open at 10:45 a.m., and dinner will be served at 11:45 a.m. Dancing to the music of "Swingin' Times" will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at Citizen Financial Banks at 5322 S. Hohman Ave., Hammond, in Munster at 1720 - 45th Ave. and 707 Ridge Road, and also at the Golden Times office, 601 W. 45th Ave., Bldg. B, Munster. Price is $20. ANNUAL CARD AND BUNCO | Schererville

The annual Card and Bunco Party will be at Teibel's Restaurant, corner of U.S. 30 and 41 on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Due to a misprint, some tickets may read Thursday, Sept. 30. Please be advised it is Tuesday, Sept. 30. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon. Ticket price is $15. Prizes will be awarded. Tickets will be on sale at Citizen Financial Banks in Hammond and Munster and also at the Golden Times Office. Please show membership cards when buying tickets.

FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST | Hammond

On Nov. 13, we will host the annual Fellowship breakfast at Dynasty Banquets, 4141 Calumet Ave. Doors open at 8:15 a.m. A individually plated breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m. John Starr, pastor of Adventure Christian Church of Crown Point, will be the guest speaker. The musical group,"Senior Sounds of Music" will entertain us. Price is $10. This is a self drive event and there is plenty of parking available. Call Berdie Chiluski to reserve.

TRIP TO BRANSON | Branson, Mo.

CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA | Tinley Park

Reservations are being taken for the Christmas Extravaganza on Dec. 3. This is an old-fashioned Christmas party taking place at the Holiday Inn Select in Tinley Park, complete with music, dancing, entertainment, plenty of good food, gifts from Santa and Bingo with prizes. Cost, including deluxe charger bus transportation, is $45. Please make reservations; only Golden Times members are eligible. Bus pick-up will be at 10:15 a.m. in front of Staples at the Calumet Avenue Mall in Munster and return about 5 p.m.
