Plans for new Cabela's store on hold

Plans for a Cabela's store in Greenwood are on hold. Spokesman John Castillo said the Nebraska-based company will only open two new stores this year due to a challenging retail environment.

The company was expected to open seven new stores this year. Cabela's had told Greenwood officials that the store would attract about 3 million visitors annually. -- Inside INdiana Business

President takes post at hospital

David Ruskowksi took over as president on Friday of Saint Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point.

He replaces Seth Warren, who has been named president of St. James Hospital and Health Centers, serving Chicago's south and southwest suburbs.

Both Saint Anthony and St. James hospitals are part of the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services Inc. system of health care providers.

Ruskowski previously had been president of Saint Anthony Memorial in Michigan City, another in the family of Sisters of St. Francis Health Services Inc.
