Cutter & Buck has Northwest Indiana distributor

Sportswear and golf wear brand Cutter & Buck has selected Diversified Marketing Strategies Inc. as its Indiana distributor.

Cutter & Buck recently formed the partnership with the Crown Point firm to expand its presence in northern Indiana and Chicagoland. Diversified Marketing personalizes Cutter & Buck clothing with company logos and fulfills clothing orders for companies.

Cutter & Buck offers clothing options for the corporate marketplace, including trade shows, golf events, employee uniforms, client gifts and business retreats.

Chamber accepting ATHENA nominations

Nominations are being accepted for the ATHENA Award. The Merrillville Chamber of Commerce will present the award at the Town Ball Nov. 10 at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza.

Nominees must demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their busienss of profession, provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community and assist women in reaching their full leadership potential.

Purdue conference to study competitiveness

Students, faculty and industry professionals will meet Oct. 5 at Purdue University to discuss manufacturing competitiveness as part of the 2007 Fall Operations Conference.

Krannert's Dauch Center for the Management of Manufacturing Enterprises and the Global Supply Chain Management Initiative is sponsoring the conference from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Rawls Hall.
