VALPARAISO | The Northwest Indiana Society of Human Resource Managers membership meeting is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Nov. 18 at Valparaiso University Harre Hall. In partnership with the Valparaiso Economic Development Corp., a panel of speakers will address human resource issues related to the technology industry.

Scheduled to present information on technology-based jobs as a business cluster is David Blumenthal from the Center of Workforce Innovations. Vince Galbiati from the Northwest Indiana Forum will discuss Senate Bill 448, which creates tax incentives for certain types of technology equipment. Russ Moen, vice president with Express Employment Professionals International Headquarters will address aspects of human resource issues unique to the technology industry.
