MUNSTER | Munster Animal Hospital, which moved to 10421 Calumet Ave., has reopened. The public is invited to tour the new hospital from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 15 through Dec. 20.

"There are many ways to build a community. At Munster Animal Hospital, we see our role to be that of caring for our pet companions and putting their owners at ease," Dr. Won Han, owner of Munster Animal Hospital, said in a prepared release. "The care of pets, through disease prevention and treatment, is our chief concern and focus. It is our desire to see our patients experience more joyful lives and to see their owners experience peace of mind in the process."

Munster Animal Hospital is a non-appointment-based practice that aims to provide top-quality, affordable veterinary care, owners said. The hospital offers boarding services without cages by accommodating pets in dog runs, private suites and kitty condos.

The hospital's hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call (800) 338-7387.
