JetBlue Airways is offering special $50 standby fares for Skybus ticket holders stranded by the Columbus-based airline's bankruptcy.

The offer is available to anyone holding a Skybus ticket with a destination within 100 miles of a JetBlue destination.

The JetBlue destination for those who had Skybus tickets to Gary/Chicago International Airport would be Chicago's O'Hare International. The JetBlue destination for those with Skybus tickets to Greensboro, N.C. would be Charlotte, N.C.

Skybus ticket holders can call JetBlue reservations at 800-JETBLUE (800-538-2583) to be listed as standby customers for a JetBlue flight. Skybus customers must show proof of Skybus purchase at check-in. The offer is good until Sunday. -- Keith Benman
