Donda West surgeon arrested in California for DUI

The plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West's mother before she died last fall has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Police said Dr. Jan Adams was seen using an off-ramp to get on a freeway early Thursday in the Northern California town of Vallejo, and was driving on a suspended license from a previous DUI.

The former host of TV's "Plastic Surgery: Before and After" had operated on 58-year-old Donda West the day before she died of likely heart disease coupled with surgery complications.

The state was investigating whether Adams' medical license should be revoked or suspended because of two previous alcohol-related arrests. AP

Redmond O'Neal pleads guilty to drug charges

Redmond O'Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, has pleaded guilty to possessing heroin and methamphetamine.

The 23-year-old O'Neal pleaded guilty Thursday in a Malibu court to the two felony counts and a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs. As part of a plea deal, a second DUI charge was dismissed.

He was placed on three years' probation on the misdemeanor charge and fined about $1,700.

O'Neal was arrested Jan. 26 after he was stopped for speeding on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. AP

Mr. Big out, Goldblum in for 'Criminal Intent'

Mr. Big is out, and Mr. Goldblum is in.

Jeff Goldblum will be joining "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" while Chris Noth -- Mr. Big in the "Sex and the City" TV show and movie -- is leaving after three seasons, a series spokeswoman said Thursday.

"Criminal Intent," part of the "Law & Order" franchise that includes the original series and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," recently was picked up for a 16-episode eighth season by USA Network.

"Jeff's presence will add a new dimension to an already successful show," series creator Dick Wolf said.

Noth's character, New York police Detective Mike Logan, was a member of the "Law & Order" family since the start, Wolf noted, adding, "We all wish him the best." AP

Mini-Me's xtra-large sex-tape suit

So much for capitalizing on the exposure.

Verne Troyer, best known for playing Dr. Evil's Mini-Me in the last two "Austin Powers" movies, filed a multimillion-dollar federal lawsuit Thursday against TMZ.com for posting snippets of a sex tape he made sometime over the last year with his then-girlfriend.

The 39-year-old actor says that TMZ disregarded cease-and-desist letters sent both before and after the video showed up on the site.

In addition to the gossip purveyor, which just posted the footage yesterday, Troyer has also sued One Night in Paris peddler Kevin Blatt. He claims that Blatt, who's known for his celeb-porn brokering ways, somehow acquired the stolen tape and, according to TMZ, is currently entertaining a $100,000 distribution offer from SugarDVD.

The adult-film rental company, which at press time was touting the newfound existence of a "full-length 50 minute video of Mini-Me in bed with a hot, young, FULL SIZED sexy woman" on its Web site, was also named as a defendant in the suit, per documents filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles and obtained by E! News.

Troyer, who can currently be seen engaging in shameless little-person humor in The Love Guru, is seeking $20 million in damages, E! Online
