Nov. 13 is the annual Fellowship breakfast at Dynasty Banquets, 4141 Calumet Ave. Doors open at 8:15 a.m. A individually plated breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m. John Starr, pastor of Adventure Christian Church of Crown Point, will be the guest speaker. CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA | Bridgeview, Ill.

The Dec. 3 Christmas extravaganza will take place at Niko's Restaurant, 7600 S. Harlem Ave. Enjoy an afternoon of dining and entertainment featuring the Fabulous Murray Brothers. A prime rib dinner will be served. Price for this event, including bus transportation, is $45. Bus pick-up will be at 10:15 a.m. in front of Staples at the Calumet Ave. Mall. NEW YEAR'S EVE | Schererville

The Annual Golden Times New Year's Eve afternoon dinner/dance will be held this year at the Banquets of St. George, 528 W. 77th Ave., on Dec. 31. Entertainment will be provided by Holiday Cabaret, a musical group. Dance to the music of Swingin' Times. At 3 p.m., champagne and favors to usher in the new year will be at every table. Doors open at 10:45 a.m. Price per ticket is $40. They may be obtained at Citizens Financial Banks in Hammond at 5311 S. Hohman Ave., in Munster at 1720 - 45th Ave., and 707 Ridge Road. Also at the Golden Times office at 601 W. 45th Ave., Munster, in the building west of the TIMES. Only Golden Times members are eligible to attend. Proof of membership is needed to purchase tickets.
