Country and pop star Faith Hill is helping music lovers get an early start to their holidays with a one-hour music special debuting tonight.

"Faith Hill, Joy to the World: A Soundstage Special Event," will air at 7 tonight on WTTW-Channel 11. The concert will be rebroadcast at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Expect some traditional Christmas tunes as well as original music. During the show, Hill will perform tunes from her newly released Christmas album, "Joy to the World."

Area fans may see themselves in the audience during this show, because Hill recently taped the concert at Chicago's Sears Centre. It's part of WTTW's award-winning Soundstage series, usually taped at the North Side studio. Occasionally, special shows are filmed at other Chicagoland venues. FYI: wttw.com/soundstage.
