SENIOR YOGA | Portage
The Bonner Senior Center offers senior citizen-geared yoga classes at 9:45 a.m. Mondays at the center, 5800 Lexington Ave. Participants must be 55 years or older and members of the Bonner Senior Center to participate. Membership is $10 per year.

SENIOR EVENTS | Glenwood
The Village of Glenwood Senior Center is a place to make new friends and join in playing cards, games, puzzles and chit chat. Blood pressure screenings take place at 10:45 a.m. the second and last Mondays of the month. Knitting and crocheting is from 12:30 to 2 p.m. every Monday. Special programs are offered on Thursdays. SPRING PROGRAMS | Valparaiso
The Valparaiso Organization for Learning and Teaching Seniors has scheduled spring semester programs featuring Dr. Alan Harreís reflections on 20 years of service as the Universityís president, the history and future of the South Shore Line, Japanese art and a variety of additional topics.
The groupís spring programs are:
* Feb. 21: Current events discussion, Christopher Center Community Room, 9 a.m.
* Feb. 25: "Italy's Unknown Heel," presented by Ruth and Dr. Louis Foster, professor emeritus of mathematics and computer science, Urschel Hall 202, 2 p.m.;
* March 6: Current events discussion, Christopher Center Community Room, 9 a.m.
* March 17: ìGrindersí Vintage Baseball,î presented by a Grinders personality in period dress, Urschel Hall 202, 2 p.m.;
* March 20: Current events discussion, Christopher Center Community Room, 9 a.m.
* March 31: ìReligion and Visual Media in America,î presented by Dr. David Morgan, Duesenberg professor in Christianity and the arts, Urschel Hall 202, 2 p.m.
VOLTS is a group for seniors who are interested in continuing to learn and in sharing their ideas and areas of expertise with others. VU faculty or other professionals make presentations on a variety of topics for VOLTS programs. Participants are retired or above the age of 60. Seniors may join at any time during the year; dues are $20 per person or $35 per couple per year.

KIWANIS GOLDEN K CLUB | Lansing
Kiwanis Golden K Club meets at 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Eisenhower Center. Retirees age 55 and older are welcome. The group holds fund-raisers to help local students and organizations. The club contributes to three high schools, Camp Quality for children with cancer, Twin Lakes Camp for children with handicaps, purchases books for kindergarteners, Key Club at Thornton Fractional South and more. Some group activities include sending gift packs to veterans, reading to students, collecting for the Salvation Army and more.

A chess club for adults meets from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Tuesdays in the cafe at Meijer, on Indianapolis Boulevard just north of Main Street. Tournaments cost $1.

BINGO DINNERS | Lake Station
Enjoy dinner and play bingo on Mondays and Thursdays at American Legion Post 100, 1899 Central Ave. Doors open at 4 p.m., early birds start at 6 and regular games start at 7. Various set-ups are available. Coffee and water are free. a two-piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw, butter and roll is $3 from 6 to 9 p.m.
