The Humane Society Calumet Area, 421 45th St., is offering a $50 discount to anyone older than 60 years old when they give a shelter animal a "forever home." This makes the price of a dog (older than 6 months) only $50 and a puppy (younger than 6 months) for $100 or a cat (older than 6 months) $20 and a kitten (younger than 6 months) $50.
