BULLS FANS WANTED | Schererville

The Chicago Bulls are looking for energetic, enthusiastic senior citizens 65 and older, to join the Bulls Entertainment teams and perform at selected Bulls home games. Come join us for a getting to know you meeting at Omni 41 Health and Fitness Connection, 221 U.S. 41, to learn more about this exciting opportunity and how you can be a part of the Bulls entertainment family at 9:30 a.m. Monday. SENIOR GOLF | Highland

Senior men 62 and older are invited to join Wicker Park's Senior Golf League. Teeoffs are7:30 a.m. Wednesdays. The fee is $9 for nine holes. Entry fee is $25 for the year, which includes a year-end banquet with door prizes. Prizes are awarded each week for closest to the pin and for first, second and third place for low net. Handicaps are calculated each week. The senior league is part of North Township's services.

COMMUNITY DANCE | Portage

Portage parks department and Miller's Senior Living Community - Assisted Living Apartments will host a community dance from 6 to 9 p.m. June 22 in Sycamore Hall at Woodland Park, 2100 Willowcreek Road. The cost is $5 per person. Light refreshments will be provided. Other dances will be held June 22, July 20 and Aug. 17.

SAFE DRIVING | Whiting

The Whiting Public Library will be the testing site for the AARP safe driving course from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 26 and 27, 1735 Oliver St. The cost of this two-day course is $10, payable by check or money order only. NASHVILLE SHOW TRIP | Tennessee

Ingalls Senior Life and Royal American Travel present a five-day, four-night trip to Nashville Dec. 3 to 7. GOLF COURSE | Hammond

Hammond's Lost Marsh Golf Course is open for the season, with adult fees ranging from $5 for seniors playing the par-3 course on a weekday to nonresidents paying $53 to play the 18-hole championship course on a holiday. Carts and a variety of options for daytime and evening play are available.

JOBS FOR SENIORS | Indiana

Low-income Hoosiers 55 and older who want to work but can't find a job can get assistance from Experience Works. Paid training assignments and job-placement services are available for those unemployed, retired and wanting to return to work, or who have never had a job. Experience Works will pay a worker's wages while they learn new job skills at a community service organization, then help the worker prepare a resume and go for interviews. Experience Works has helped thousands of Hoosier seniors get jobs.

NEW SENIOR SERVICES | Merrillville

Merrillville Clerk Treasurer Eugene M. Guernsey has created a new department within the clerk treasurer's offices at the Merrillville Town Complex, 7820 Broadway. Senior Services, a nonprofit service and an all-volunteer operation, will provide information, literature and guidance to Merrillville seniors. VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT | South Haven

The Portage Resale Shop, 404 W. U.S. 6, is seeking volunteers to serve as cashiers, to sort through donations and to help with various other jobs. Volunteers can earn "resale dollars" by volunteering a certain number of hours and by recruiting other volunteers. The shop also names a volunteer of the month. The shop's hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Portage Resale Shop is a nonprofit organization. The money generated stays within Porter County.

Greater Hammond Community Services and Hammond Parks & Recreation invite seniors 60 or older from the Greater Hammond Area to attend the Senior Nutrition Programs, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 S. Sohl Ave. The program provides an opportunity for seniors to participate in socialization, activities and a meal that provides one-third of the daily nutrition requirements. The cost is $2 per day. Hammond Parks & Recreation invite you join the Senior Pinochle Club. Pinochle is played from 1 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 S. Sohl Ave. The cost is 50 cents and membership is required. On the first Thursday of every month, a Pinochle Tournament is hosted at the Hammond Civic Center from 1 to 3 p.m. for $3.
