HELP FOR CHILD ANXIETY | Crown Point

New Leaf Resources, a professional mental health agency with offices in Crown Point, Lansing and Elmhurst, offers a variety of approaches to assist families who have children with anxiety issues from a Christian perspective. Psychotherapy can focus on helping children gain coping skills such as relaxation, changing thinking patterns and facing their fears. Beginning Thursday an anxiety therapy group for children ages 7 to 12, will be facilitated by Angie Valente, Ph. D., at New Leaf Resource's Crown Point office, 11065 Broadway, Suite B. FLU SHOTS | Crown Point

9 to11 a.m. Oct. 17 the Crown Point Library, 214 S. Court St., will offer a Flu Shot Clinic. The vaccinations will be administered by specially trained Jewel-Osco pharmacists. The cost is $24.99 and there is no charge to patients with Medicare Part B.
