Precious few actors who take to the stage would deny themselves the pleasure of savoring one of the awards presented to those who have mastered their craft.

Enter George C. Scott.

The craggy faced actor (five broken noses, earned mainly through barroom brawling) brought a controversial American general to life in 1970's "Patton," only to return the Academy Award for Best Actor. A serious performer who was just as serious in his disdain for awards ceremonies, Scott also declined an Oscar nomination for his role in the highly acclaimed 1961 film, "The Hustler."

Scott was born on October 18, 1927, at 11:30 p.m. in Wise, Virginia.

His chartwheel depicts Earth as a circle in the center surrounded by a sky divided into 12 Houses. The 1st House starts at the eastern horizon, with the western horizon starting the 7th House. The 10th House cusp is the point directly overhead.

Leo and its associate sphere, the Sun, govern the heart, aorta, circulatory system, spine, upper back and spleen. Scott's 1st House (Physical Body) and its opening degree/cusp set the stage for Scott's fatally sensitive aorta.

The 1st House is dominated by Leo, opening with the 26th degree of Cancer and ending at the 17th degree of the Lion. The Sun's understu dy, our Moon is a potent factor in the chart, and Scott's is located in the 1st House at 13 degrees Leo.

Scott also has a stress-generating square (90 degree angle) between the Body Line (1st House cusp) and his tight Sun-Mars conjunction (24 and 25 degrees Libra, 4th House). Since Mars governs cuts, punctures and explosions through Aries, its proximity to the Leonine Sun set up a fatal rupture of a balloon-like abdominal aortic aneurism.

Completing Scott's impressive Leo pattern is the placement of Neptune -- one of two health-illness planets -- at 28 degrees Leo (2nd House).
