As expected during the opposing months of Sagittarius and Gemini (The Twins), phenomena have been occurring in pairs or in higher numerical clusters.

Only one day separated the announcements that a pair of 1970s folk rockers was stricken by prostate cancer, with Dan Fogelberg succumbing on Dec. 16 and Stephen Stills' affliction being made public on the 17th.

A study conducted by Japanese scientists supporting the use of green tea to minimize the incidence of advanced prostate cancer made the news only two days later.

Fogelberg was born at 3:46 a.m. Aug. 13, 1951, in Peoria, Ill. His chartwheel depicts Earth as a circle in the center surrounded by a sky divided into 12 Houses. The 1st House starts at the eastern horizon, with the western horizon starting the 7th House.

Fogelberg's thoughtful lyrics flowed from the philosophical musings poured into his two work-related houses by Sagittarius (18 degrees on the 6th House cusp) and its governing planet, Jupiter (14 degrees Aries, 10th House). His well-crafted love ballad, "Longer," has been played at countless weddings since it hit the airwaves in 1979.

The prostate gland is governed by Scorpio and its co-ruling planets, Mars and Pluto. Out of a 360-degree heavenly circle wrapped around Earth, Fogelberg's Sun shared the same point with Pluto (19 degrees, 2nd House). No less significant is the placement of his natal Mars in the 1st House of the Physical Body at 26 degrees Cancer.

The 6th House not only joins the 10th to reveal much about our careers, but it also partners up with its opposing 12th House to govern matters of health and illness. The transiting Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto -- nearly half of the 10 spheres tracked by stargazers -- were passing through Fogelberg's 6th House when he expired. The singer who touched the depths of our souls came and went under a Sun-Pluto conjunction.

Stay in tune with nature and know that love is the brightest star!
