HOBART | The windows or windshields of 10 parked vehicles were reportedly smashed in with a rock in an overnight mischief spree, Hobart police Lt. Steve Houck said.

The incidents, the first of which was reported at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, occurred in two different areas of the city, he said.

Five of the incidents were reported by residents whose vehicles were parked in the 2700 to 3100 block of West 49th Avenue.

The other five incidents were reported by residents whose vehicles were parked on West Old Ridge Road between North Lake Park Avenue and Evergreen Street, Houck said.

Police believe the incidents may be related.
