Times Staff Report

A Hobart man was charged with two counts child molestation after being accused of molesting two teenage girls who are related to him.

Lake Station Police Chief Mike Stills said two Class A felony charges were filed against Richard Robison, who was living in Lake Station at the time the crimes occurred.

Each felony count carries a penalty of up to 50 years in prison and a $10,000 fine, Stills said.

Stills said the incidents were discovered earlier this month when a 15-year-old girl went to the hospital for treatment of an illness. The girl told hospital staff about the molestation of her and her sister.

Stills said Robison admitted molesting the 15-year-old and her 17-year-old sister four or five years ago, when the girls were 12 or 13 years old.
