Hobart man accused of swiping Christian DVDs
HOBART | Police arrested a 55-year-old Hobart man accused of stealing from a Christian bookstore several religious DVDs including one titled "Walk With Jesus."
"He was walking out with Jesus," police Lt. Steve Houck quipped.
Ronald D. Summerhill has been charged with conversion or shoplifting in the incident reported to police shortly before 1 p.m. on Thursday, he said.
Houck said Summerhill was placed under arrest at Family Christian bookstore, 1932 E. 80th Ave., after he was observed placing 16 DVDs in his coat pockets and not paying for them.
The value of the DVDs was placed at more than $400, he said.
