CHESTERTON | The Relay For Life Duneland Poker Run is Saturday at Coachlite Inn.

There will be live music and food plus there will be giveaways.

Sign in is at 10:30 a.m. All bikes go out at noon and will be back in by 4 p.m. Bands will start playing at 5 p.m. Featured performers are Chester Brown, Randy & Ron and Johnny Mac Attack. The cost is $10 per person. All vehicles are welcome to participate.

Organizers for the event are sisters Rebecca Nidelchoff and Rachel Henry, and Sharon Nelson of 1st Source/National Bank.

"Sadly we lost our beloved grandfather, Ken Callaway, last December to cancer," said Nidelchoff. "There are countless families going through the same thing that ours has, and we want to help them. Community events like this poker run not only help raise awareness of the disease, but can also help improve the quality of life for those with cancer and their families. That's our goal."

All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. For more information, call Rebecca at (219) 916-6955. Nidelchoff and Henry are walking at Relay For Life Duneland on June 20-21 at Chesterton High School on the "WHO ARE YOU FIGHTING FOR?" team. They hope the entire community will come out to support the event and cheer them on.
