Shipshewana on the Road comes to Porter County

WASHINGTON TWP. | Shipshewana on the Road celebrates the beginning of 17 years on the road. It will come to the Porter County Expo Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 15 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 16.

Beginning the 17th year of Shipshewana On The Road, which travels to many locations in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, is the show held annually at The Century Center located in downtown South Bend, Indiana. More than 210 booths will be filled with dealers selling their unique products at prices you just won't believe. Children and their strollers are always welcome at the shows. Handicap accessibility, ATM services and a full array of refreshments for everyone's enjoyment is also provided.

New this year to the show are 400 thread count sheet sets. There are also blankets and an array of many items. Shipshewana Spice Company will also be there with their entire line of fresh herbs and spices. They are best known for their "Happy Salt" which is a special blend of salt, pepper and garlic. This special flavor alone will keep you coming back for more but don't forget to check the prices on all their spices because they can't be beat.

There also will be a wide variety of gold, silver and costume jewelry. Shoes for both men and women, decorating items for inside and outside, toys for boys and girls, authentic name brand perfumes and colognes at deeply discounted prices, wall art, pine and oak furniture, discounted Webkins, and designer inspired handbags, just to name a few. Scattered throughout the show are specialty gourmet food booths where you can sample these unique and delicious items to take home for your family.

Adult admission is $3 with free admission for children 12 and younger who are accompanied by an adult.
