Actress Lili Taylor will portray Sheriff Lillian Holley in the new John Dillinger film "Public Enemies." Holley was thrust into the national spotlight in 1934 when Dillinger famously escaped from the Crown Point jail and stole her new V8 Ford to use for his getaway. Holley never did live down Dillinger's escape, saying, "If I ever see John Dillinger again, I'll shoot him dead with my own gun." Film and TV veteran Taylor has been nominated for two Emmy awards. Her TV credits include "Six Feet Under." Her film credits include "Say Anything," "Rudy," "The Haunting," "High Fidelity" and "Ransom."
A Hollywood beauty and two Chicago actors will play regionites linked to John Dillinger's 1934 escape from Lake County Jail.
