CHESTERTON | Over 100 pieces of original artwork, created by ARTability clients of Opportunity Enterprises (OE), will be featured at the second annual ARTability Show and Sale at Framing Concepts from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 20. The event is open to the public and has been made possible through the sponsorship of Framing Concepts and Lucrezia Café and Restaurant.

"The artists, all of whom have a developmental, physical or emotional disability, have worked tirelessly since last year's event to create new and innovative pieces for our business partners and private collectors," said Allison Thomas, Special Events Manager. "Proceeds from our art sale will benefit OE's art enrichment program."

OE client artists use a variety of techniques to create personal reflections within each piece. The presented artwork will have a range of themes n everything from 1950's and 60's pop culture to Asian-culture inspired works. ARTability instructors work one-on-one with clients as part of the adult enrichment curriculum at OE.

Framing Concepts is located at 219 Broadway in Chesterton. For more information, call Opportunity Enterprises at (219) 464-9621 and ask to speak to Allison Thomas, or visit www.oppent.org.

Since 1967, OE has been a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency and life choices for challenged individuals. Today, OE serves over 1,000 individuals in Porter County and throughout Northwest Indiana.
