SOUTH HOLLAND | South Suburban College will host summer basketball and baseball camps during June.

The basketball camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11 through 15 at the college's fitness center.

The cost of the four-day camp is $100 and it is open to ages 7 to 17. Later in the month, a shooting camp will also be held from 1 to 4 p.m. June 25 through 28 for $50.

The camps will be directed by head coach John Pigatti and players from the 2007 basketball team, which finished seventh in the nation.

The baseball camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon June 25 through 28 at Bulldog Field. The camp is designed for kids ages 6 to 14 and is directed by head coach Steve Ruzich and South Suburban players.

The cost is $60 per camper for all four days of instruction and includes a T-shirt. Each camper should wear gym shoes and sweat clothes, and bring their own equipment.
