CHICAGO | Former Cubs television analyst Steve Stone is the new radio color man for the White Sox.

Stone was already slated to call 13 White Sox games and Tuesday WSCR-AM 670 announced he'd be in the booth full time. He replaces Chris Singleton and will be teamed with play-by-play man Ed Farmer.

Stone hasn't been in the booth on a regular basis since he left the Cubs after the 2004 season. Since then, he's done some games for ESPN and TBS as well as working as a baseball analyst for WSCR.

Stone has around the majors for decades -- first as a player and then in the booth. He played for the Cubs and White Sox and in 1980 won the American League Cy Young Award with the Baltimore Orioles.
