Accomplishments: Tim Maxwell is the new executive vice president of finance for the Bible League in Crete, one of the world's largest evangelical, nondenominational scripture placement agencies. His responsibilities will include safeguarding assets of the organization and building bridges of trust with donors. The Bible League provides scriptures to people in more than 60 countries and "engages people in the Word to ultimately grow God's family and to transform lives and cultures." Maxwell will travel and provide oversight of scripture placements and Bible studies and then present donors with reports and pictures documenting what their contributions accomplished, confirming money is not diverted to other places. The Bible League will endeavor to train 10 million nationals to engage 100 million people in the study of God's word by the year 2020. "It's a great organization and it's an exciting work to be a part of," he said. "The rich heritage of the Bible League stems from this

community, which has positioned it to reach beyond and have a footprint worldwide."

Why I minister to others: "There is nothing more exciting than to see a life transformed and what better way to do that than by giving them the word of God."

What I read: "The Bible is where I find the truth of life. I also enjoy reading books by Joel C. Rosenberg."

Advice: "Be true to the word of God."

What inspires me: "God has gifted each one of us to use our gifting and to me it's to help people maximize their stewardship, helping this Bible League live to its full potential, impacting the world for Christ."

People might be surprised to know: "I have been in 41 countries and with that comes an appreciation for seeing God as a diamond with many facets and each facet being a people group who reflect the brilliance of who He is."
