WINFIELD | NIPSCO crews are currently working to right a utility pole on 109th Avenue that had been hit by a vehicle early this morning, a NIPSCO spokesperson said.

About 4 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle hit at utility pole at 109th Avenue and Green Place, breaking it so portions of the pole laid across 109th Avenue, said NIPSCO spokesperson Larry Graham. The accident did not disrupt service to NIPSCO customers.
