Abe Brown was named as the new E.C. Central boys basketball coach on Monday at a school board meeting. Brown, a former Cardinals varsity assistant and junior varsity head coach, replaces Pete Trgovich.

Trgovich resigned and then took over the Indiana Northwest program. The Cardinals are coming off a state championship in the Class 4A tournament.
