The Indiana Toll Road on Monday announced the eastbound passing lane at mile marker 13 is closed for emergency bridge deck repairs.

The closure will remain in effect until the concrete has been properly set. Officials said the lane is expected to reopen by late Tuesday.

At the time when the passing lane is re-opened, ITRCC will then close the driving lane at the same location for repairs on that area. If all goes according to plan, the driving lane will be closed Tuesday evening and opened late morning or early afternoon on Friday, Nov. 7.

Pavement repairs are also being made near westbound mile marker 101 westbound in Elkhart County where a tractor-trailer accident that occurred early last week. The repairs will create temporary lane closures in that area as well, according to toll road staff.
