Santa to make appearance at Memorial Opera House

VALPARAISO | The North Pole Kids Club will perform for Santa's Arrival at 5 p.m. Friday. The Memorial Opera House will present Santa's Surprise Party Spectacular with the MOH theatre Camp friends.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive that evening in Valparaiso. This outside event will be in front of the Memorial Opera House and the Porter County Museum.

The free event will begin at 5 p.m. with the North Pole Kids Club. There will be Santa's Surprise Party spectacular where Santa and Mrs. Claus make their outdoor appearance just before 6 p.m. following their grand entrance, there will be an official lighting of the 21 foot holiday tree which will be between the Memorial Opera House and the Porter County Museum. Immediately after all the outdoor events, which patrons are asked to dress appropriately for, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on the Memorial Opera House stage to visit with kids and take pictures.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will both be at the Memorial Opera House stage from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays only, Nov. 22 through Dec. 20. Children can visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus bring their letters to Santa, purchase pictures, join in a sing a long and visit the Porter County Museum next door for stories with North Pole storytellers and more holiday fun.
