An acoustic guitar covered in names can help generate funds for the American Cancer Society.

The instrument includes autographs from about 25 country music artists such as Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Terri Clark, Bucky Covington, Pam Tillis and Trace Adkins. An auction for the guitar, donated by Front Porch Music in Valparaiso, is taking place on eBay.

The autographs were obtained by Indiana 105's Dawn Patrol morning host and co-music director Steve Zana and his wife, Colleen, when they went to the Country Radio Seminar this spring in Nashville, Tenn.

"It will be hard to let the guitar go," Zana said in a written release, "but it is for a cause that is near and dear to both my wife and I. I have a story for every artist we got."

The signed guitar is on display, behind glass, on the lower level of Westfield Southlake mall in Hobart, near Sears and Borders Books & Music.

The eBay auction ends at noon Monday. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Greater Valparaiso, which will take place June 15 to 16. Zana has been involved with the benefit for many years.
