The RailCats opened their season without a run, falling 3-0 at The Steel Yard to the Joliet JackHammers on Thursday night. Pitcher Tony Cogan, in his first start since joining the RailCats as a closer last season, falls to 0-1 on the year.
The RailCats play again Friday night.
