MUNSTER | The Kiwanis Club of Munster has recognized its January Students of the Month, Anisha Rastogi and Suchita Rastogi.
The identical twin daughters of Dr. Sanjeev and Dr. Amita Rastogi are seniors at Munster High School.
Anisha has taken classes in AP biology, calculus, chemistry, economics, physics and U.S. history. She is active in National Honor Society, speech and debate, Munster Theatre Company and the science olympiad. She has taken advanced concert band and orchestra classes and is a member of the MHS women's and mixed ensembles.
Anisha is a math tutor and she has sung at Dyer Nursing Home. She volunteers at the Lake County Public Library's Munster branch and The Community Hospital.
She plans to major in biomedical engineering in college and go on to medical school, with a goal of working in biomedical engineering.
Suchita has taken classes in AP biology, calculus, chemistry, economics, physics and U.S. history. She has also taken advanced concert band and orchestra classes.
She is active in National Honor Society, speech and debate, band, choir, Munster Theatre Company and the science olympiad. In addition to tutoring algebra and pre-calculus, she is a volunteer at The Community Hospital.
Suchita plans to major in biomedical engineering or molecular and cellular biology and go on to medical school. She plans on a career in applied biological research.
