SCHERERVILLE | A robber hit the Movie Gallery video rental store near U.S. 41 in Schererville on Thursday night.

Police believe the robber showed a gun in the robbery at the store just south of U.S. 30 at about 9:45 p.m.

An officer could not say what, if anything, the perpetrator took, as the robbery was still being investigated late Thursday.
