Born March 22, 1990.
Daughter of Adelbert and Susan Bell of Lowell.
Sister to Buddy, Joe and Brooke.
Granddaughter of Theresa Bell of Wood Dale, Ill.
Member of St. Edward Church in Lowell.
Accomplishments: Kimberly Bell, valedictorian of the 2008 graduating class of Lowell High School, delivered an inspirational address at commencement. She reflected on school events and friendships, memories classmates will cherish and that will help them move forward in life. Bell earned a 4.2 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 and completed Advanced Placement calculus and literature along with honors Spanish IV during her senior year. She was a member of National Honor Society, L Club for varsity letter winners and participated in Academic Super Bowl. Bell played basketball all four years, earning three varsity athletic letters and was student captain her senior year. She was a four-year member of the varsity volleyball team, received co-MVP junior and senior years and was student captain and named to the first team All-Conference and All-Area as a senior. Bell will attend Illinois Institute of Technology in the fall and has received the IIT Heald Scholarship and an academic-based
award from the school. She's also the recipient of a Kay Sampson Memorial Scholarship from Lowell High School. Bell works in the deli at Strack and Van Til in St. John. In the past she played Dunes Club Volleyball in the off season.
Personal heroes: "My parents. My dad started his business when I was 6 and made it grow into a successful business."
What I read: "My favorite books are Harry Potter and I liked The DaVinci Code'."
What I do for fun: "Hang out with my friends and go shopping."
People might be surprised to know: "I used to be in ballet in middle school."
