34-year-old man found floating in swimming pool
GRIFFITH | A 34-year-old man survived a near drowning Tuesday after he was found floating in a residential swimming pool.
Officers were called to the 700 block of North Cline Avenue about 6:07 p.m. and found a woman giving CPR to the man as he still was in the water. The officers pulled the man from the water and Prompt Ambulance paramedics arrived and began treating him, a police report said.
He was taken to The Community Hospital in Munster.
The woman said she was sitting on the pool's deck and noticed him floating in the water.
"Unofficial information later received indicated (the patient) had survived and was still undergoing further tests," police said.
No other information was available on the incident.
