CROWN POINT | An East Chicago man was sentenced this week to eight years in prison for dealing cocaine, the Lake County prosecutor's office reported.

Henry Rumph, 30, pleaded guilty earlier this month to the felony charge.

Rumph sold three plastic baggies containing .3 grams of crack cocaine to a confidential informant working with the East Chicago Police Department on Feb. 21 in the 4800 block of Larkspur in East Chicago, police said.
