WDSO will broadcast interviews leading up to elections

CHESTERTON | WDSO-FM, the radio station of Chesterton High School, will broadcast interviews of candidates for local, state and federal elections in the weeks leading up to Election Day.

On Election Day, Nov. 4, the WDSO news team will broadcast results of the general election from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. If possible, the coverage will include interviews with some of the winners. There also will be statewide reports and local coverage courtesy of Network Indiana.

Upcoming interviews include:

- Oct. 14: attorney general and state superintendent of public instruction at 4 p.m. Rebroadcast Oct. 15 at 1 p.m.

- Oct. 16: U.S. representative districts 1 and 2 at 4 p.m. Rebroadcast Oct. 17 at 12 noon.

- Oct. 21: state representative districts 4 and 10, state senator district 5 and Porter County judge of Superior Court 1 and 2 at 4 p.m. Rebroadcast Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.

- Oct. 28: Porter County surveyor, treasurer and commissioner districts 1 and 3 at 4 p.m. Rebroadcast Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.

- Oct. 30: Porter County council-at-large and Duneland school board at 4 p.m. Rebroadcast Oct. 31 at 12 noon.
