State police reopened the eastbound lanes of the Bishop Ford Freeway around 11 a.m. after a roll-over accident forced the closure of the expressway for more than three hours.
A semi tractor trailer overturned and lost its load of powdered cement near 130th Street around 7:30 a.m., forcing the closure. The incident also forced the closure of the 111th Street and 115th Street ramps.
One individual was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, but his condition was unknown, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Luis Gutierrez said.
