Emergency workers gather up their equipment near a small pond after being called to the scene on 15000 block of Countyline Road Thursday morning to rescue a horse that had fallen through the ice. Rescue workers from Lakes of Four Seasons, Winfield and the Lake County Sheriff managed to free the animal from the water in less than an hour. (JOHN LUKE
